The most important thing in everyone’s life is the people they surround themselves with; rather they only passed through or carved out a permanent place for themselves. Except for family, the people that come into our lives are purely by chance. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly... every one of them has some part in molding us into the person we become. I’ve been blessed over the years to know some truly amazing people. Even though I also chose to walk away from those that offered only negativity & destruction, they all had their place in teaching me some important life lessons. For each of them, I am grateful!

I am a very private person, but for those that are close to me... I am totally open. It would be difficult to be/survive as a single woman and not be independent, self-assured, and reasonably self-reliant. So, I won’t pretend that I’m not. That DOESN'T mean that I don't want or need someone in my life! It DOES mean... I deal with my life no matter what/where it is in a positive manner.

The people that I am drawn to have strong character and personality, witty, secure in who they are, honest in their interaction with others, compassionate, non-judgmental, and passionate about the people and things they believe in.

I have no interest in anything long distance, so if you are not within a reasonable driving distance (100 miles maximum) where we will be able to spend time together if we find out we like each other after meeting- please don't message me. I am not looking for an online pen pal...

I’m very happy with where I am in my life. I have wonderful (adult) children, a few very close friends that I cherish, and have been fortunate enough to work in a job that I love. What more could I ask for?? Except maybe someone to share that life with, that will share their life with me…
