I've been married 4 times. The first 3 I wanted what I wanted.the last one I wanted what she wanted . We both wanted the other one to be happy. And fought way harder to get it for the other one than we would ever have fought for our selves. I'm a truck driver by trade now but I have worked at a lot of jobs. I grew up on a small farm where I learned to love nature, animals and getting things from the earth by working for them. I believe in God and karma. Both are real, both will give you exactly what you deserve. I've struggled through hard times, but never gave up and my life is pretty stable and rewarding. My last wife was the older sister of a friend I grew up with. She was beautiful when she was young but she was already married by the time I was a junior in high school. She ended up with a guy that could afford a trophy wife. I never even tried. But deep down I always wanted her. She had a brain aneurysm in 1989 and her well to do husband walked out on her . I found her again in 1996. She was not in very good shape , wouldnt get dressed or leave her house. She was legally blind and her left arm was paralyzed. I couldnt take it. I knew she liked nice cars and I had a 78 Grand Prix. Old but nice and talked her into going for a ride. She snapped out of her gloom and I snapped out of the wreck my life was. For 23 years we never looked back. It was the happiest time of both our lives. She told me that God sent me to her to save her life, but I know God sent me to her to save mine. Our marriage was very successful, and very happy because I was determined to make her feel whole and loved, and normal. She was determined to do the same for me. Instead of being in it for what I wanted I was in it for what she needed and she was in it to see that I got the same in return. She changed me from making excuses to getting it done. From being selfish to selfless. From a boy to a man. She passed away on christmas eve 2018. I've never cheated on her still. Her birthday was christmas . She would have been 66 the next day. So age?or looks or how much you can do dont mean much to me because although she was devastated physically, I could still see that beautiful woman inside her. And she must have saw something in me because she encouraged me, trusted me , and believed in me. That was the thing I needed all along. . And she told me that even when she was young that all she really ever wanted was to be truly loved by someone. And I loved her. Now shes gone . It seems like a dream , but I still have a lot to give. To the right woman.
