I love to travel near and far and rarely turn down a road trip. That doesn't mean every trip has to be an adrenaline packed whirlwind, (although...) I enjoy the slow and lazy days too.

Do you dive? I recently upgraded my scuba gear for an upcoming trip to Thailand. I'm just as happy on the water as I am under it. I went white water tubing in Costa Rica for my birthday and got a massage on a beach in Nicaragua at sunset. Balance in all things is important.

My ideal guy is open with his thoughts and emotions, he is confident without being cocky, he is kind but not a pushover, and he is available. He has a strong sense of self without being narcissistic. And he recognizes that I am a strong, independent woman capable of opening my own door, but he still gets the door for me because he's a gentleman.

What makes us work? We are honest with each other. We respect each other and give each other the space to be themselves without excluding the other. We recognize each other's strengths and we compensate for each other's weaknesses. We are partners.
