I am quiet and reserved.5 Keep my thoughts and prayers to myself. I have had more heartache and hurt in this life. I have been abandoned as a kid and as an adult.2 Not sure why. Who knows why people do what they do?0 I feel bitter at times. I still hope for the best. 7I really do believe in love and that most people are good at heart.0 I really would like to meet someone that understands me, 5where I come from, what I have been through. Someone that will talk about the problems life throws at us.6Has an opinion and maybe some advice to give. Someone that doesn't get offened if I disagree with them sometimes.7Someone with a open mind that knows what was true five years ago may have changed.2 New evidence was found or things changed. A better way was figured out.3I don't go around looking for people that are wrong just so I can tell them. But it shocks me how many people rely on information they were told thirty years ago. I am not a conspiracy theorist. But I am naturally curious and lots of things that were considered facts decades ago have had serious evidence suggesting otherwise. I am curious about these things either way true or not. I was a rider but I had a stroke in November. I was paralyzed on my left side. I have got some of my mobilty back. I can walk with a cane. I have an electric wheelchair that I use depending on how I feel and how far I would be walking. I get by ok with little help. I had to. Everyone I knew pretty much disappeared. They always say they will help but never did. It was hard and I had times that I didn't think I would make it. I kept trying and I learned different ways to do things. I do alright. I still need help sometimes. I just don't get upset anymore when nobody shows up. I just don't believe them or count on them when they say they will help. This has turned into a novel and probably will do more harm than help. Honesty is the best policy and I felt like I should tell my story no matter how long it takes. If I don't meet anyone that wants to or can deal with what I am going thru either as a friend or a more serious relationship I have not lost anything. I was honest and I tried. I am working with a physical therapist and I do hope to ride again.
