A few years ago a dear friend, who had first introduced me to biking, passed away and left me a 1979 Moto Guzzi California. It was much too large for me and I could not bear to sell it; so it was donated to a Biker Museum in DE.Biker Life was not at all what I had expected. The people were kind and caring and accepted me with no questions.This was one of the happiest times of my life. About me: I was born in the South but lived most of myl ife in theNortheast. When it came to my education I certainly benefitted from affirmative action for hillbillies.I have lived in Boston, Phillie, NYC & LA. I am Syrian Orthodox Christian. We call ourselves "the ancient faith." Our Spiritual Motto is "Proclaiming the Truth Since AD 33." Our functional motto is "not today Isis, not today." Isis or Daesh as we call these butchers have slaughtered most of the Christians in the Middle East. Many of our young men, and some young women, although US or Canadian citizens, have gone to fight in Syria. Were I twenty five again I would go also. At this age I fear I would be more of a burden than a blessing.My faith, & the politics that surround it, are extremely important to me.My Mother was Lebanese of the substrate called Carmel; meaning that she had very dark hair & eyes & very fair skin. I have inherited her coloring. I love animals: having two dogs a cat & a horse. I also support several animal rescue groups.The Syrian Orthodox believe that our Creator placed a spark of the Divine in all His creation from humanity to animals to trees,rocks & streams. My third passion after my faith & my animals is staying in good shape. I work out regularly; either at the gym or running the roads - as my beloved Father's called it. I love music of all kinds from Rock to Country to Blues, Jazz & Reggae. Some of my favorite groups & artists are BR549, Vern Gosdin, Uncle Cracker's (love his cover of GJ " from the window up above") Kenny Vaughn, Sam Cooke, Johnny Lang, Chris Rea "TheRoad to Hell." Being a true daughter of the South of course I love the AllmanBrothers & Lynard Skynard. I love to dance. My goal in life is, as my faith requires: toLove(all of God's creation) & to be loved. I am NOT looking for marriage. Just hoping to make some friends.
