I pulled into a gas station, got off my bike and approach the woman standing by her car. The woman took a step back and had a look of fear on her face. I was originally going to ask her the time, but after that all I could say to her was “Riding a bike doesn’t make me a bad person just like going to church doesn’t make you a good person.” I walked away and found the time elsewhere. I didn’t care if it hurt her feelings or not. That’s the kind of person I’m looking for. I want somebody that would stand with me, turn and walk away with the same feelings I had. Instead of trying to blend into society, I was born to stand out.
