Hi There!
Forgive me if I sound totally novice at this, but.....well, I am. I recently became single and am excited to meet new people and experience the world from a fresh perspective.
I am 55 years old.....I honestly look 40 and feel 30! I love life and I love people.....I think everyone has something to offer. I am fiercely independent but also extremely considerate, caring and loyal to my friends and family. I am not a perfectionist.....heck, we are all flawed and that's ok......but I respect integrity and a high concept of truth. I am a die-hard romantic which to me includes a mix of great communication.....sometimes lasting for hours when we exchange deep-seated beliefs and ideas about Life and the future....along with excitement physically and a certain comfort in each others space. A definite mix of admiration and respect for one another is important to me. I also feel that if you can see the humor in any situation you are in good shape. I do like guys that are a little edgy.... Mostly I don't do well with conservative types......while I certainly respect everyone's viewpoints and attitudes, I do better with people who are a bit wild and crazy (in a good way...not a homicidal/suicidal crazy axe murderer kind of way!)....I did say "a bit", right?
My major loves right now (besides my grown kids) are my 2 horses. I try to ride every day on local trails and I am always open to riding buddies! I am looking to meet new friends and maybe more if the chemistry is right!
I'm pretty fit, I ride almost every day and go to the gym as often as possible. I love all kinds of music......classic rock, brazilian jazz, current popular music.....I like it all!
I love art and artistic endeavors......painting, decorating, etc.
What am I looking for? Well, relationships are complicated so starting off with an awesome friendship that develops into something more is comfortable for me. I love being active, traveling and adventure mixed with some mellow down-time is my idea of a perfect experience.
As far as my ideal mate.....well, I adore confidence in a man, along with a really great sense of humor. Likes to stay in good shape but not a fanatic about it.......able to laugh at oneself and not take yourself too seriously....... Financially secure, well-educated or just really smart.......fashion-forward a plus! Artistic interests a plus also! I prefer someone with grown kids......I have them and enjoy a large family. If you ride a Harley for fun, that's cool with me and I will join you at a moment's notice......but I get seasick, so if you like sailing I may only go on a harbor cruise.
I don't know where this particular road will take me, but I am certainly up for the challenge!
