Slim, 42 year old guy. Likes to go hiking, playing softball when not out doing the "bar hopping" thing or just chilling at home. I don't smoke, have no kids, never married, and have a (I hope) stable job. I like good old fashioned southern rock and roll through current rock (most of it at least), some country music (the newer stuff that really rocks), and really like a good live blues/rock band. I've lived in south or central Florida most of my life, and now I'm back up in the Atlanta GA area (again). Living up here gave me a good appreciation of live baseball games (especially spring training games) and NASCAR racing. I do occaisionally get cleaned up and go into the city for a civilized day/night out, but overall my tastes are pretty simple. Besides, most things are better when you have someone to enjoy them with, right?

I would probably like to meet for a game of pool and a few beers, or something along those lines, just to see if we're going to hit it off. Then the real first date might be something like going for a ride in the country, ending up at a quaint rustic inn type of place, and getting some great dinner and drinks as the sun goes down.

Mountaineering. Don't laugh at this Florida flat-lander! I've actually studied the subject for a while now and can definately see why people do it. Now if I can just get over my fear of heights...

How the hell are you supposed to answer this? Small libraries have been devoted to the study of human attraction and you only get 1000 characters (including spaces!) here. All I can say is it's like art: I know it when I see it.
Ok, you want a real answer. Let's see, I want a woman who I can be comfortable around and vice versa; I'm pretty easy going and I hope you are too. I would like somebody to give me a reason to be romantic again, if it's possible to be romantic in old blue jeans and a tee shirt. I hope you're reasonably upbeat and fun to be around and have a good sense of humour, I'll try to do the same. A nice inviting smile is a good start.
