I have been single for 7 years by choice. I wanted some me time. I have learnt new skills and developed as a man.

I miss the following:--
Kissing.
Holding hands on the beach or the shops.
A head on my chest watching a movie.
Having someone to cook with. Honestly cooking for just me sucks.
Having a travel buddy.
Going on Sunday rides to country markets followed by a pub lunch
Having someone to see live music with.
Weekends away.
Being the big spoon.
Someone to go to movies or theatres with.
Going out for dinner.
Having chill times.

Really a really cool companion works, but truly I do hope to develop a long term relationship.

Your past is just that, in the past. Unless your communication with your ex relates to kids of course. They come first.
