Born in Atlanta, but raised in East St. Louis, Illinois. I am not interested in anyone who is married, or just seperated. Seperated is still married. Life has not always been very good to me, but I have not let it get me down. It is always my intention to be good to others and I do even when others have made it hard to do so.

I am not your ex, so please do not blame me for what he did or did not do. Not all men are alike. That is a myth that we are all alike. But I know about broken hearts and know that sometimes it takes time to heal and that a person needs love and understanding in the process.

It is my hope to find someone to make a life in the future with. As no one can change the past anything in yours will not bother me, it is what we together can do in the future that matters. Been down some hard roads myself and have been deeply hurt, but I still maintain a positive outlook on life.

I am a romantic and would do things like send flowers for no reason, call you up and ask you for a date even if we were living under the same roof. I still open car doors and treat a lady like a lady and still beleive she has a right to be her own person. No one owns anyone.

I have nothing to prove. So you will not have to worry about me cheating on you. Some younger guys out there may, but I would appreciate what I have in a woman and not stray.

I can be playful, easy loving, hard loving, adventurseome, yet when it comes down to a woman knowing what is in my heart all she has to do is look to see the reflection of her own self, and if at night she would need to know where I am at all she would have to do is reach out and take my hand as I would be right there.

I am a graduate of Gulf Coast Community College, University of West Florida, Florida A&M and U.S. Army Combat Leadership School, RHEMA Bible College and a couple other things along the way. Guess you could say I am addicted to learning things I do not know, so in my spare time, I take courses. I support education as knowledge is the one thing no one can take from you.

I am a record producer,have my own studio on the premises and also own a indie record label and B.M.I. affliate publishing/ management company. As I have been asked recently, no, I am not in a band. I do play six instruments at a professional level. I still work with R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, some Gospel and Pop music with a touch of C&W from time to time. Also, I spent a number of years as a professional counselor working with all sorts issues from marital, death and dying and substance abuse, just to name a few.

My home is paid for and I have a stable secure income. I do not rely on the music for a living, never have. I pay my bills and when they were young set up a trust to insure my children were supported,,,do not care for deadbeat Dads and viscious ex-wifes.

Also, I am a Viet Nam Disabled Vet.

Love to have fun but will be there for you in the bad times as well. That is when it would count the most isnt it?

My daughter is raised and is a RN, very proud of her.

Age is a number and color a description, to me it is what is in the heart of two people that matter most. I do not judge people by what size clothes they are either.
