| I Would Describe Myself As | My nickname is "Gecko" because of the many different attributes I have. Just like geckos I can change and adapt to many different situations, and there are many different sides to me. I am a down to earth independent woman whose one hobby is riding and showing my Harley. I love riding, RVing, photography, computing, nature, Scuba diving, dining out, traveling, hanging out at home with my dog Diablo, and many other things. I am spontaneous at times, but also like some routine in my life too. I am a FL Native from here in Brevard County, so I like to dress very casual, but I can dress up for any occasion (just don’t burry me in a dress, I will come back to haunt you!) HAHA I am not looking to get married again (been there, done that) but would love to find a special long time friend to share my life and adventures with. I have almost traveled all the Caribbean Islands and have gone up and down the Eastern US. I am planning to travel the Midwest and Western US and go to Alaska also in the next couple years, and do some riding in the mountains instead of flat Florida, one trip at a time. I own my own home and I am financially secure. I don’t need to sponge off anyone, nor do I want to be a caretaker for some man. I am pretty much an open book and often speak my mind, even if it isn’t what you want to hear. My long time friends would tell you I am honest, dependable, trusting, and a good person. I will drop anything I am doing to help a friend at any time of the day or night when they call. I have mainly always held “man type” jobs (was always a tomboy growing up), and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I do most of the work on my bike myself and grew up working on cars rebuilding engines with my Dad. I use to run my own handyman business a few years ago, before giving it up because of helping take care of my Dad when he was terminal with cancer. I am disabled with a back injury now from falling off a downed pine tree crossing over a barbed wire fence in a FL State Park (but that’s another story). I had back surgery in March. I am recovering nicely and I have started slowly getting back on my bike and feeling the wind in my hair, and that power at my hands. BTW I have no tats, this surprises people because of the Harley, I follow my own road! This lady does't ride "Bitch", I ride my own! There are three things in life which should never be broken: TOYS, HEARTS, and PROMISES! |
