| Me describiría a mi mismo como | Hey there, my name is Derek. I am a Colorado native with a real appreciation for the outdoors. I also have a slight infatuation for exploring everything this great state has to offer. Right now, I am attending school (and working) full time. I have a good career oriented job, and I feel lucky that I have been able to accomplish this much without the need for a degree. I'm a confident person. I work extremely hard to get what I want, but on the other hand I feel that it is important to not take life too seriously. I feel that I have a good (somewhat dirty maybe) sense of humor, and I like to use it OFTEN. I try to stay active to counter stress and to stay in shape. I recently got into hiking/climbing. I climbed 6 14ers this year, and plan for at least 10 next year. We shall see. As far as downtime goes, I enjoy watching football, baseball, and hockey. I am a die hard hometown fan. So even when our teams are dead last (ahem...Avalanche) I will still be a loyal fan. |
