I lived in Michigan's eastern Upper Peninsula for the past 28 years. I have visited Florida since the 60's and currently spend my winters there. I love Michigan summers and the Great Lakes, but can't beat the warmer winter weather of Florida. Actually, I could live anywhere with the right companion. I am not a perfect person but do have strong morals and values based on my Born Again faith in God. I am a retired veteran of the Persian Gulf War and retired from a professional career in Law Enforcement. I have two adult children, one living in New Hampshire, the other in South Carolina and two beautiful teenage grand children. I enjoy the freedom of the road riding my Harley's, and making cross country road trips. I have been fortunate to have done many things in my life including world travel, owning horses, working off shore Oil Rigs as a Commercial Deep Sea Diver, building my own log home and more. I enjoy creative projects involving woodworking, welding, mechanics, and yard work. I also enjoy kayaking, mountain biking, camping, shooting guns and the outdoors. I believe I am a hard working, organized, resilient, fair, and a faithful person. I am content with my accomplishments in life but not finished yet.
