About me: To begin, you will be relieved (I hope)to know that I am NOT one of the many "house hunters" on here looking for a man as my room mate. I've been very independent for years but a part of me is missing without a special someone to share my life. I am the type of person who loves to do just about anything especially outdoors. I was raised in St.Louis County but have access to farms/lakes. My best friend is my brother who is one year older. I can thank him for teaching me all about "the manly things" in life such as hunting and fishing because I have passed my knowledge onto my 17 year old son. Yes, I am certified to hunt and fish but honestly I have never fired my rifle to shoot any animal and I believe in catch and release. I'd rather use my camera to "shoot" wildlife and as for fishing...I probably have more tackle than most men. A bonus? I don't squeal over live worms or any bait and I can actually take fish off the hook(lol). Fishing in a boat or by the waters edge relaxes the mind,body and soul...I love it! If I am not outdoors with my family and friends I am always staying busy either inside/outside my home. TV is ok but I get bored easily. I do like to read educational material and presently I am researching documents for my PhD in education. I have been teaching children with special needs for almost 30 years and I love it..the passion is still there. I enjoy music,dancing, biking any trail, walking/jogging at JB Park,eagle watching in the winter months, boating, fishing, LOVE Harley's/anything to do with them, horsebackriding (had 3 horses of my own at one time) and I am facinated by hotrods/classic cars. I am the type of woman that doesn't mind getting her hands dirty but can also dress up to the 9's and go out on the town. My best qualities are: my smile, easy going,great listener,adventurous, compassionate/passionate, taking care of my family and home, being a support for my elderly parents....just enjoying everything in life because each day is a bonus! I am looking for a man who is equal or stronger than I am. By this I mean mentally and physically...I am not looking for one who wants a "mother figure." I love a man who takes care of himself,shows affection and demonstrates self confidence.Honesty, respect, and communication is a MUST. A man who treats a lady like a lady in public and can treat a woman like a woman behind closed doors... completes "The Package" :) !! I believe all of us have a destiny in life and my destiny is to find that special man to share my life with and be happy...life is too short not to be shared ....it does have an expiration date!

In the daytime I'd like to go to a park in the country or perhaps visit a small town. I also like fishing so a picnic lunch while fishing would be great.
