I am a 55-year-old hopeful romantic. I believe that we are meant to be with a significant other for companionship, fun, romance and love. Although I have yet to find the love of my life, I still believe he's out there. No relationship is a failure as long as we learn and grow from it. I don't want to spend a lot of time driving to see each other, so if you are more than 30 miles away, I don't think we'd be agood match.

I'm an honest, loving person who will compromise on pretty much anything. That's what a relationship is all about; compromise. I love to do things that I know make my partner happy. They don't have to be big things. I don't expect big things either. I just want someone who is interested in what I have to say, who is attracted to my smarts, my quick wit and my humor, along with my physical attributes. I am not college-educated, but I am not an idiot. I can carry on a conversation and I have been told I am extremely funny.

I'm passionate about the people I love. I have 3 grown children who have given me 6 beautiful grandchildren. I am with them often. I believe this is the best time of my life and I just want to share it with someone.

I am open to trying new activities, but currently I own rollerblades, a bicycle, golf clubs (need some help with those), television, two legs and a car to get around to wherever it is we'd like to go. I probably won't ever learn to play tennis. I love riding on the back of a motorcycle, so if you have one with a spot for me, I'm happy to accompany you.

I grew up in a musical family, so love most types of music. My friends say I know every word to every song ever written (I think they exaggerate), so if you like to sing, we'd have many hours of fun together.

I'm more tomboy than fashion model. I don't wear makeup except for special occasions and the same goes for dresses. I am no slouch, I just don't like shopping and spending all that time fussing over myself in the bathroom. I haven't been to MOA since my kids were young enough to ride the rides.
