How does one describe themselves without seeming pompous? I feel that I am a typical man, no more, no less. Still about 28 years old in my head, but the body says otherwise, and occasionally corrects that thought. I am retired being financially and emotionally secure. I like the outdoors, going to county and state fairs, music festivals, town festivals, etc. In fact, I work security at one festival 18 days in the summer, a Renaissance fair as it is a fun job and the people watching is over the top.
I really enjoy motorcycle touring with day rides, weekends or a cross-country trip. Will camp on the nicer evenings, but I am over the not so nice evenings and will grab a hotel room. Did that too many times in my younger days, I don’t really get any pleasure from that anymore. Ride all most every day, to town, the gym, errands, and just pure pleasure. Cannot emphasize that enough, rarely drive a four wheeler only if the weather is bad. I go to the gym every morning, I feel being physically active keeps you much healthier, strong, younger and helps with every day life and the small adventures that I like to take. I tend to have a dry sense of humor, and enjoy socializing and swapping stories with friends. I don’t mind sitting at home at night, but I also like to get out now and again. All in all, I lead a quieter life, mixed in with some social activity but I also might be a little introverted at times, and politically conservative. I very much miss having the best friend, partner, banter, and easy-going relationship that comes with knowing and being with the same person over time that thinks, feels and enjoys the same things that I do. Looking for that partner and best friend were we do not argue or compete with each other. Intense discussions are one thing but if we’re truly on the same page, there really should never be arguments, and if there are disagreements or discussions, we should never end them being annoyed or mad with each other. I guess that’s me in CliffsNotes, hope this helps you peek inside a little bit. Or it bores you to tears……..
