I am first and foremost a dedicated mom and family person. My two daughters (both adults now) are my world and my best friends. We are very, very close. As is my whole family. We usually get together almost every Sunday and are unique in that we never argue. I hear so many people say how they don't talk to this family member or that family member. Not our family! I have the best family in the world! I spent the last 20 years raising my children alone. Their father was not involved at all and I put my life aside to provide the best life that I could for my girls. But now that my girls are grown, it's time for ME to move on with my life. I have had 2 stable relationships but nothing that seemed to have a future. I'm finally ready to find that special someone who enjoys the same interests as me and is not afraid to think about the future. Please don't freak out and think I want to get married next month or anything, lol. However, I do want someone who wants to make time for me and make me a priority in their life. I have the time to make an effort towards a relationship and would like to find the same in return. A best friend. Someone I cannot wait to hear from or see again, and him to feel the same way. I enjoy everything outside when the weather is warm. Not a big winter person at all. But in the other 3 seasons, I am always outside. Love the coast especially. The ocean, the beach, any outside venue whether restaurant, bar whatever.
I'm very active. I run, almost every day. I eat healthy, but of course cheat every once in a while. :) I'm a wino. I like beer, but prefer wine. One of my passions is cooking. My dad was a chef and I think I inherited some of his genes in that area. Cooking for just yourself is so not as satisfying. But cooking for people you care for, or even a crowd, love it. Even more.... I love to spend an evening cooking with someone special and enjoying our meal we prepared together with a nice bottle of wine. That's a great evening.
