Ok well, Here goes. I guess describing what I like to do will provide insight into my personality. But it is kinda hard to talk about yourself without sounding like some kind of narcissist. Anyway, I enjoy riding my Harley. For me its therapy. Long rides on the backroads of America, discovering new places and enjoying the scenery, communing with God and creation. Very relaxing. Been riding about 25 years. (15 Legally) But I also enjoy going out with the guys and riding hard and fast, trying to get lost or goofing around playing bike game competitions. I am a member of a Christian Motorcycle group(Great group of brothers. Iron sharpens iron); and are associated with other clubs, so we are very plugged in to the biker events in NJ and PA. I am very much into fitness, I go to the gym 3 to 5 times a week. I'm in the process of training for a half marathon out of Phila. in Sept. I also enjoy writing and have been published back in the day, mostly journaling these days. I'm into sports, mostly baseball and football. But I enjoy whitewater rafting, Scuba and I study Tai Kwon Do. I love to discover new places to eat and shop. I also enjoy walking or moutain biking down a wooded path and discovering the perfect bend in a river to hang out and watch the flow of the waters tumble off downstream. Or poking a fire on the beach with a stick and watching the embers dance into the dark autumn skies, (marshmellows optional) Listening to the ocean break on the surf; moon reflecting on the ocean...Awesome. But I also, on occasion, enjoy going to the city..(Mostly Soho or the Village to shop or to just observe the uniqueness of life in NYC.
I love to laugh and do so often, I am quick witted(at least I think so), but I have a serious side as well. I am honest, sometimes to my own detriment, but I try to blend that with compassion. I have kids and a dog, Love both. Only one left in the house, but I stay involved in their lives. Family is important, and I make sure it stays that way. My best friend is my 3 yr old grandson. He is my fellow superhero. Captain America and Hulk Smash; Together we protect the world from bullys and evil doers. Well, someone has to. I am a former U S. Marine as was my dad(retired firemen), my brother(now a cop), and my sister(now Border Patrol in San diego)...So a Semper Fi. I am a patriot. I like to travel, especialy within the US but I did enjoy Hawaii (Rented an Ultraglide..Awesome), and someday Italy. I am the glass half full consumate romantic, on a quest for true love. What draws a man and a woman together and keeps them together? This is the GREAT mystery and the journey we've undertaken. I believe timing and fate play a role. I dont believe in coincidences. There is a reason for every chance meeting if you look hard enough. But blending two seperate lives together takes effort, even just to make the time to get to know one another, but when its right, it becomes easy... never forced. Well even the mighty Redwoods started with a tiny seed. Everything has its beginning. So I guess thats the journey we're on. Hoping to discover the answer to the GREAT mystery.. together.
