I am very active and enjoy those that are also. More of a Summer person than Winter, I just don't care for the cold but it really can't get too hot or too sunny. Outdoor activities are the best, anything from kayaking, riding on the bike trails, taking a ride on the motorcycle to somewhere new just because. I'm in the gym about 3 times a week, I just feel so much better (physically and mentally) when I stay fit. I really appreciate and respect people that stay fit and active. Seriously... I am looking for someone that is FIT and ACTIVE, I wouldn't expect someone else to be, if I were not.
My idea of "Athletic" and "Active" is NOT watching the game on TV, it is getting out and doing something.

My music appreciation is very wide, from rock to blues to soul to country but I must admit to being a bit of a "Parrot Head" at heart. I just can't get myself to listen to rap, punk or opera. I do enjoy an occasional live concert, but if Jimmy Buffet is playing anywhere nearby....I'll be there. (that Parrot Head thing).
I am as comfortable in jeans and boots as I am in black tie and tux or even flip flops and shorts (providing of course being at the right place at the right time)
I tend to have a bit of a dry sense of humor and can be a bit of a smart *** sometimes.

I'm looking for some fun. Do a few things on purpose and a few more by accident.
It would be nice to find someone to do some of those things with. If something else happens along the way, GREAT, if not, we still can have some fun.

The idea is...Don't take ourselves TOO DAMN SERIOUSLY.
As I said in the profile, I don't drink, drug or smoke. I don't care if you take an occasional drink (nothing to excess, I just can't stand to be around someone that is intoxicated) the other items are a definite deal breaker. I don't think fun and enjoyment should center around drinking, I'm not a prude, I just have better things to do.

The "first date" comes after the
'first interview" .... Yeh, I know, that sounds a bit cold but.... How many times have you gone to meet someone and they were NOTHING at all like their profile, your friends that set you up told you about, they presented themselves on the phone???? I could go on, but you already know what I mean.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really not a cynic. I just want the opportunity to meet and chat and get to know the other person a bit BEFORE planning that "first date" .
When it gets to that point, we already know a few of the other persons likes and can plan something a little special that is more in tune than just a guess.

I am an active person. I nice weather, I love to jump on the bike and ride to who knows where to find who knows what, the perfect "dive" cafe in some Hole in the wall town with the best_____ (fill in the blank) on the menu that you've ever eaten.
I am on the river Kayaking at least once a week in nice weather (and sometimes not so nice). I will try ANYTHING. I love new adventures, new foods, new experiences.
I go to the gym frequently so I can eat what I like and stay in shape.
Fun is what you make of it. Go in with the attitude of having it, and you will.

I enjoy a woman that can take a joke, can dish it out and can take it all in stride.
Jeans and boots are great on the motorcycle but that little black dress when we're out makes me understand that you are all woman. I'll make sure to shave and look sharp on weekends if you will do the same LOL. I adore the feminine side of a lady (especially if she is a bit of a tom boy).
