Hi,
It's time to try again; rumor has it that persistence is the key to success. I am a somewhat atypical woman, (according to my friends), in that I am educated, intelligent, NORMAL, refined, and self sufficient. Having said that, there is another side to my personality, the one that just made me buy a Harley, the risk taker that makes me go sea kayaking, flying, and taking off on solo cross country drives. Thus far, I've had an awesome life, have travelled extensively, and lived in the wine country of Ca. for 15 years. I've been able to indulge my quest for knowldege...I have no complaints, save the fact that I've yet to meet a man who can appreciate my adventurous side, in addition to the more geeky aspects of my personality. I own my own home, which I share with my two dogs. Frankly I don't "need" a man, but it sure would be nice to meet someone special to share the pleasures, and trials, that life has to offer. I don't have kids, and while I like them well enough, I'm looking for someone who either doesn't have kids, or whose kids are essentially grown. I take good care of myself and work out regularly, but am not one of those annoyingly fit people. Middle age is a cruel thing, and despite my efforts, I don't have the body I did at 20, so I don't expect you to either. I do want someone with a commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle, and who doesn't view Wii bowling as a legitimate workout. If middle age has added a few pounds around your waist, no matter. As for what I'm looking for, well, I am seeking a man with integrity, the kind of guy who will do the right thing even if no one is looking. I want someone who is affectionate, thoughtful and kind. I want someone who can't wait to come home at night, who isn't afraid to talk about "feelings", (lost a bunch of you with that one). Sounds simple enough, but it appears I am in search of an endangered species. If I sound like someone you'd like to contact, cudos for being a brave man :). If not, I wish you the very best with your search for the special someone.
PS. I bought a Harley this spring and ride whenever I can...but it's always nicer to ride with someone.

I've actually never gone to the beach on a date. I want dinner, the romantic walk, hand holding on a starry night, etc. It's a cliche, but one I've never experienced.

I'm seeking a kind hearted, intelligent man; the kind of guy who will do the right thing even when no one is looking. Thoughtfulness and honesty are paramount. I'm financially independent, intelligent, funny, attractive, and NORMAL. I don't need a man- I want one, there's a big difference. I have a lot to bring to the table in a relationship. I seek what might seem easy to find, but has proven elusive: A quality man with character, who can make me laugh and walk beside me as we grow old.
